tracy_jordan • What were you most looking forward to this weekend?

A tie between dinner at my friend Andrea's new apartment on the UWS (her first dinner party ever in her 32 years on this planet) and brunch with my good friend Jeremy in order to meet his new (adorable, brilliant, perfectly-suited-for-Jeremy) boyfriend.

• Any updates to your Netflix queue?

Got through Bolt (3-stars) and finally saw Cinema Paradiso (5-stars). Added "I've Loved You So Long" (which I cannot help but think of as "Me Love You Long Time")

• How's that major life decision going?

After my second cocktail at happy hour on Friday, all major life decisions deferred to next weekend.

• Which story from the current news cycle is bugging you?

Bristol Palin and Miss California. Am I the only one who thinks these two need a reality show together?

• What was the single most annoying thing you had to deal with this weekend?

Cleaning my messy apartment.

• What was the biggest disappointment of the weekend?

Waking up and realizing that I'm not Chris Pine. (And the weather.)

• Review a TV Episode, Movie, Book, Article, Restaurant (or Meal), or Sporting event in one sentence?

Ah Ping Snack Bar (2 East Broadway) is as hole-in-the-wall a joint as you can find in Chinatown with three tables and plastic plates and forks and yet serves some of the most delicious non-touristy Chinese food in the neighborhood.

• Did you leave your town?

Left Brooklyn which, for me, is a big deal on the weekends.

• What's the funniest thing you heard or saw this weekend?

Tracy Jordan's reasoning for booking a hotel room twice a week on "30 Rock" because he goes there to poo in peace and isn't quite sure why he only poos twice a week. That was a pause-the-Tivo, laugh yourself silly for three minutes kind of a moment.

• What's the unfunniest thing you witnessed this weekend?

Discovering my credit card company raised my APR from 12% to 26% because of 1 late payment in the past 12 months.

• Did you do anything this weekend you've never done before? If, "yes", summarize in one sentence.

I had a holistic fear-center treatment done on me for an hour in which I discussed my fears and the things that are holding me back in life while the person working on me (Andrea, my friend, who did this before she cooked dinner) applied pressure to my chakras.

• "Just throwing that out there." Go ahead, just throw something out there. Anything. Anything at all.

I made this recipe last night and I highly recommend it: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/29/dining/292srex.html?emc=eta1
