Command+D: Recipe Whore

donutburger-741684.jpgWelcome back, Stevesword.  Command+D's been here all along, I just didn't want to mention it to you.  Who doesn't like some good home cooked fair?  Well, you can always count on the internet to give you some truly wonderful ideas for dinner and dessert.  Mostly dessert though.  Let's begin, shall we? 1.   You like chocolate?  Good, so does the internet. 2.   The internet also likes excessive, overly-fancy, over-complicated comfort foods. 3.   The third food group of the internet is the restaurant clone. 4.   Of course a few throwbacks don't hurt. 5.   How else can we differentiate our recipe from all the bajillion other ones?  I think I've got an idea! 6.   Oddities!  Must click!  This one is worth it. 7.   Can a person make a cake with nothing but other processed foods?  Just add Sprite Zero!  But should a person do this? 8.   Or perhaps the opposite of seven.  Can a person make a basic ingredient from scratch even when it makes no sense not to buy it?  Of course! 9.   The best plan of all is to just take an old recipe and make it new again by changing it's name.  The last time I had these I called them stacked enchiladas. 10. And then every once in a while you get a recipe that you wish you'd known earlier. And no, you don't get an extra-special Command+D just because you've been out of the loop. Well, okay.... 11.   Here you go!

Nice to see you again, D.
While we're on the subject, I thought I'd drop by and promote my favorite food related satire site. I get a chuckle everytime I visit. Bon Appetit!

Welcome back, D! Great collection this week -- I think my BMI just went up a few notches after checking out these links. Although it's possible that my frenzied clicking burned off some calories along the way. Keep it up!
